On 30th October (Sun) 2016 the ministerium of the Lutheran Church - Hong Kong Synod (LCHKS) headed by President Rev. Dr. Allan YUNG ordained 5 pastors. Most of them were CTS students in the past, while Rev. Dr. Ivan YIM was serving as CTS Vice-President in 2015-2016. The ordination ceremony took place in Concordia Lutheran Church (CLS) in Shek Kip Mei [石硤尾] and many LCHKS members as well as families and friends of the ordinands attended it. On behalf of the LCMS Rev. Peter KOLB (LCMS OIM), Rev. Carl HANSON (LCMS OIM) and Rev. Joel SCHEIWE (Church of All Nations, Repulse Bay [LCMS]) participated in the act of ordination.
