On 6 and 7 November (Fri and Sat) 2015 the Joint Symposium of The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) and Lutheran Theological Seminary (Hong Kong) [LTS] took place. The symposium was focused on Luther's theology of the cross in the Asian context and included the lectures delivered by the Luther-scholars from Greater China, that is, from Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan.
Concordia Theological Seminary (CTS) was represented by Rev. Dr. Stephen IP, CTS President, Dr. Matthew OSEKA, CTS Dean, Rev. Dr. Richard CARTER, CTS Professor and Rev. Sam YEUNG, CTS Professor and Director of LCHKS Literature Department.
Moreover, Dr. IP contributed to the conference as a moderator of Friday afternoon session, while Dr. CARTER was active in the discussion panel. In addition, Rev. Joel SCHEIWE participated in the conference on behalf of Hong Kong Church of All Nations (LCMS).
